“ The Promise “

I wish for you great happiness, in everything you do.

Then wish you joy, love and peace, may all your dreams come true.

I dream of things that you will do, the places you will go.

Then dream of times you’ll share the love that lives within your soul.

I pray to God that you will see the value of your life.

And pray that He will hold your hand, through days of pain and strife.

I wish my wish not on a star, but with love I have inside.

And dream my dreams with knowing, that God will be your guide.

I pray you’ll see Him everywhere and ask Him what to do

Cause He’s given you a promise; He’ll always be with you.

His promise is forever, He loves you this I know.

He sent me to remind you, the bible tells you so

And remembering the promise will bring new hope to you.

For you can know that He is there, to help you make it through.

Those days you feel great sorrow, or times you feel alone

He’s standing right beside you, so you can be at home.

No matter where life takes you, whatever you may do

You have the promise from our Lord, more grace for me and you.
