” REMEMBER “

Oh I want to thank you Father and celebrate today,

For endless blessings you bestowed, the love you sent my way.

Cause I’m looking in a mirror and gazing at my past,

While looking towards the future, convinced your love will last.

And remembering the seasons and counting blessings too

Will give me many reasons, to say that I love you.

So I’ll count all my blessings, I’ll name them one by one

For I may then remember, the wondrous things you’ve done.

I remember loving parents, first gift you gave to me

While how they helped you mold me, I only now can see.

I remember little children, with smiles on each face,

They helped you teach me patience and knowledge of your grace.

And I remember precious blood that flowed for even me.

The way you sent your only Son, to set my spirit free.

Then I’ll survey miles and memories, the love along the way

And remember friends I’ve made and what they mean today.

I remember joy and laughter and I recall some pain

From lessons that you taught me, those things I hoped to gain.

But mostly I remember, the way you touched my heart

And how you made me understand, you loved me from the start.
