Forever’s waiting there for me; today may be the day.
I’ll truly see your holiness, the light to guide my way.
For you speak each day to open hearts that listen prayerfully
And to open minds that search to find the way to be set free.
But even in the silence, you love me just the same.
So quietly I’ll listen to hear you call my name.
Cause you’re the door for all I’ll do; the key to my success.
And you’re the half that makes me whole, the road to happiness.
Let’s imagine for a moment I’m waiting for you’re touch
And then I see our smiling face; I love you very much.
You say my child let’s take a walk, there’s something you must see.
I have a very special gift, a gift to you from me.
We talk together for a while and walk through blades of grass.
My feet are wet from holy dew and cleansed from days gone past.
The early sunlight fills the air and glistens on the trees.
While branches stretch to touch the sky, I feel the morning breeze.
The tree of life before me stands, an awesome sight to see.
And there’s a heart engraved in red, the name inside is me.
So now I’m kneeling at your feet and smiling from your touch
Because you hold me in your heart and love me oh so much.
Imagine that you’re love like this; because you see it’s true.
God holds you deep within His heart and cares so much for you.
