                “Beautiful”

                                          by Kenny Fedder

Have you ever been embarrassed, from what you said or done?

The clothes you wore that day to school, those kids were making fun.

Because of your appearance, some want to cause you shame.

Their words that cut you like a knife, were meant to bring you pain.

Those children wearing glasses, don’t really have four eyes.

And some, whose ears are larger, will never, ever fly.

God makes us all so different, like flowers in the spring

With varied shapes and colors, it’s beauty that we bring.

Into this world of wonder, this story should be told.

There’s beauty in the differences, it’s a wonder to behold.

The birds that fly above us, the uniqueness that they bring.

Their diverse voices celebrate the glory of our King.

With varied size and colors, a rainbow in the sky.

Like planets in our universe, that praise our Lord on high.

We’re beautiful yet different and precious in His sight.

That’s why He made you special, that’s why He made you right.

And looks within your heart my friend to find that unique place.

Where He can live and help us be, the beauty of His grace.
