“Let’s Dance”

Lord, you put your arms around me and hugged me oh so tight.
Then helped me fully understand; my eyes were given sight.
You loved me through my sorrows and held me past the pain.
So I can sing your praises and bless your holy name.
In times when I was lonely, you brought me to your side.
Then held me closely through the night, these eyes were opened wide.
To see how much you loved me and all that you have done
To save me from my sin and shame, and say that I’m your son.
So now I shout your praises and bless your holy name.
I dance with joy and laughter and you can do the same.
Cause dancing shows our happiness, the joy that overflows
With saving grace and faithfulness, the love we’ve come to know.
So let’s dance with smiling faces, let others see our joy.
That lives within our hearts each day, like little girls and boys.
Not holding back with dignity, they’ll notice at a glance.
We celebrate amazing love, cut loose my friend and dance.
