“ MORE”

The bread is placed upon my plate; the wine is in the cup.
As I humbly kneel before you, Lord come and fill me up.
Then touch me with your Holy hand and draw me to your side
For near is where I want to be, forever to abide.
Within your gates of wonder to celebrate your love
Cause more is what I really need, though I’m not worthy of
The amazing grace you’ve given and how it set me free
From shame of all that I have done, to all that I can be.
Yet endless grace goes on and on and says that I’m your son.
You’ll stand with me through battles; the war’s already won.
More mercy ever flowing, more peace to start each day,
Your spirit whispers to my heart and tells me what to say.
So I’ll clearly know the fullness of blessings that you give.
Like hope with such assurance and joys of life we live.
