“ Amazing  “

It’s amazing just how many tears a friend can shed in vain

And with a broken promise a heart can feel real pain.

It’s amazing how a helping hand can lead a friend to light

And how your light will guide their path and bring them through the night.

It’s amazing that with faith from God a mountain turns to sand

And how His shield protects a heart so gently in His hand.

It’s amazing how you give us hope and wipe away our tears

And how you know our every thought yet loved us through the years.

It’s amazing how on bended knee you take away our cares,

The way you make us stronger each day with you in prayer.

It’s amazing how the breath of God will whisper to a heart,

The way a raging fire grows from just a tiny spark.

Amazing is the grace of God that takes away our sin,

And how those sins will go so far, they’re never seen again.

It’s amazing that the glass of life so quickly fills with sand

And how in time a man will change while holding Jesus hand.

So amazing is the love of God with depths of ocean deep

And how his mercy overflows and holds us while we sleep.
