Kissed

Many times throughout my life, I had to stop and say…

Oh I’ve been kissed with blessings, I’ve seen the Lord today

In the smiles of little children and old men while they play.

The games of youth we learned to love, the laughter of the day,

The love of friends and family; The joy that’s been bestowed!

So now I sit and wonder why I’ve been kissed, but know

That life is good and God is great no matter what men say.

For I’m writing this to help you see He’ll hold your hand today.

You may not feel His loving arms or see His smiling face.

But He’s weaving things and people to help you see His grace.

Cause He’s really always loved you and wants the best for you.

Good food and wine, with friendly smiles; there’s little else to do.

But smile and say, “I love you Lord,” kiss your hand and point above.

To the One who loves and keeps you; tell Him you see His love.
