Breathe

                                 by Kenny Fedder

The hustle, bustle of my world, kept me moving all the time.

I should have sat and rested more; reviewed things in my mind

When rushing off to somewhere, that I had been before

Seems almost kind of silly now, but I’m not really sure

If I could somehow change my life, exactly what I ‘d change.

Cause it’s all been very special, as I look across the range.

From good that didn’t help me, to bad that turned out good.

Those things I clearly wanted or things I never should.

Many that might of killed me, from dumb things that I’ve done.

A few blessings rarely thought of, though I remember some

I sit and breathe the air today, that God has given me.

Knowing that He still loves me, wherever I may be.

And as I breathe this air He gives, I think about it all.

The lessons that He taught me; from biggest to the small.

Because in every situation, as I look back and see,

He’s always been here with me; He is the air I breathe.
