” LIFE’S ROAD “

By Kenny Fedder

As I am walking down life’s road,

I look around and see.

Someone that God has placed in time,

to be in front of me.

His face is wrinkled, tanned and dry

from life’s tremendous strain.

His hands are dirty, hard and worn

they’ve felt the greatest pain.

If not for God’s great love and grace

what can I do or say.

But look to Him for all he’s done,

fall on my knees and pray.

I thank you Lord what you’ve done

since the day you came to me.

You loved me Lord for who I was

and all that I could be.

Help me love my fellow man

for darkness needs a light.

You called us all to be the salt

and a candle burning bright.
