“WINGS”

The broken wings of yesterday are healed so we can fly.

Together we are standing here to tell you reasons why.

We are very special friends, you keep me at my best.

And special times that we have shared, are better than the rest.

The smiles you see are from the heart, a gift from up above.

We’re holding hands together now with someone that we love.

Yes, love’s a very special gift, cause it changes you and me.

When we can look through others eyes, well that’s when we can see.

Together we are standing here, so many reasons why.

You have a wing, I have one too, together we can fly.
