” A Higher Place “

We’ve felt the touch of His embrace, the love so warm and sweet.

We want to share His gift so great, with others that we meet.

Oh, there can be a special place, a place where one can go.

And feel the power of His love, that says ” I Love you so ”  

It is a place where joy abounds, a place where one can see.

The face of God in people that, He’s given you and me.

The smiles warm you deep inside and send a message clear.

The outstretched arms are open wide, they say ” your welcome here “

For it’s a place where we can share the joys of life below.

Where sorrows come, but melt away, from faces all aglow.

Our joy we carry around with us, for we are not alone.

The spirit brings us love each day, the heart becomes His home.

We have a place to praise His name, just like the stars above.

To thank Him for His promises and thank Him for His love.

Then someday skies will open wide and arms up high we’ll raise.

And every breath we’ll ever take, we’ll use to give Him praise.
