” CHOICES “
by Kenny Fedder
Life has choices that we must make.
Some we’ll ignore while others we’ll take.
How do I find which way to go?
The pathways not clear, how will I know.
My pride is wounded deep inside.
Your will or mine, I must decide.
My beating heart was feeling pain.
So I offered my tears to the wind and rain.
As I climbed up the cliff, with rain in my face.
You whispered to me with love and grace.
In a moment of truth, near the top of the hill.
I opened my hands and let go of my will.
I stood in awe, with the storm coming down,
I was standing below on sacred ground.
I thank you Lord for the love you’ve shown,
a promise to me, I’m never alone.
You gave me new eyes, to embrace all I see
And a peace in my heart came quietly.
Let go my friend and you will see,
God’s will is best for you and me.
