Time will come and time will go,

but this I’m certain of.

God’s greatest gift to you and I

was when He gave us love.

The love He gave was undeserved

and showers us with grace.

For we can go to Him in prayer

to seek His Holy face.

And when are burdens heavy

too much too hard to bare.

If we need a friend to lean on,

or need someone to care.

He’ll send someone to hold us close,

like He has from the start.

So we’ll go to make a difference

and touch a lonely heart.

If all the good that we may do,

our giving and our care.

And all the kindness that we show,

His blessings that we share.

Could mend one heart or change a life,

because we traveled here.

Then this would be a better world,

because we traveled there.

For broken lives need healing

and darkness needs the light.

Cause they will see the very day,

their eyes are given sight.
