The world says that we must search, to find out who we are.

Examine dreams or try to wish upon some shining star.

But we know God the Father and know He has a plan.

So we reach up to hold His hand and bow before His throne.

Then feel His Holy presence as our heart becomes His home.

We understand where help comes from and know He knows what’s best.

His hands will guide our future, the way to peace and rest.

So start each day by praising Him, for who He is to you.

Remembering the work He’s done and asking what to do.

There’s times when we are standing tall, when we should be on our knees.

Just asking for forgiveness or saying Father please.

Cause He wants to hear our troubles and guide us on our way.

And He’s always there to listen to what we have to say.

So if your heart is feeling pain and you’re not sure what to do.

The place to rest is in His arms, where He will comfort you.

And when you feel the joys of love and His goodness overflows.

Oh may we smile and thank Him, because He blessed us so.

Gods healing mercy set us free, His grace has made us whole.

He is our Savior, Lord and King, the strength within our soul.
