Exactly why God sent His Son, to show His love once more.

With loving and forgiving hands, He opened up a new door.

To truth and understanding, the way through life to face.

The reality of our sinful nature and the gift we all call grace.

Wisdom is the depth of knowledge from accumulated events.

Time tested truth for us to read, the message that He sent.

Holy Scripture from God Himself, shows how we should be living.

Teaching our greedy minds about, less taking and more giving.

A clearer picture how we arrived and the purpose of our stay.

Without using His vast wisdom, we all repeat the ways.

Of families that came before us, the mistakes they made, oh yes

Sin’s no different than long ago, I’d dare to make that guess.

Just keep on doing what we do, results come out the same.

Our mind is a terrible thing to waste, so lets not play that game.

Wisdom comes from the mind of God, Holy words written for us.

So much deeper than knowledge, it’s the bread inside the crust.

Learning the reasons why we’re here, it’s wisdom we can trust.

If you’re curious about your future, then reading is a must.

Read to fathom who you are and who you’re meant to be.

Pray for guidance and knowledge, a path for you to see.

Find a church where you can grow, where nothing’s ever earned.

The fellowship of believers all sharing what they’ve learned.
