Our God has awesome power; He turns the hands of time.

He weaves the web of life for us, His reason and His rhyme.

And I am only human; you’ll see no wings to fly.

But God has taught me countless things, with many reasons why.

He’s blessed me throughout my life and none were ever earned.

The lessons that He helped me see are lessons clearly learned.

His hands are truly gentle to show us that He cares.

We need to teach each other; our lessons we must share

with future generations, with family and with friends

To help our neighbors through this place where we’ve already been.

Cause we’ve all come into this world, one second not too soon.

And when we leave its only cause our days on earth are through.

Just knowing there’s a God above who loves us everyday

and knowing that He sends us friends to help us on our way.

It helps our daily struggles and all our times of fear.

So we’ll laugh with you in good times and hug you when there’s tears.

Come dance with us when blessing flow in showers of sweet rain.

And when dark clouds are everywhere we’ll all pour out the pain.

Yes, the twine of life is special; it’s woven from God’s heart.

The times we touch each other’s lives. He planned them from the start.
