Your darkest hour was just before, the rising of the sun.

In the one that God created and in Christ the risen one.

Those lonely thoughts you held inside, have left your open heart.

And happiness will take their place, to always be apart.

Of how you feel down deep within, you have a new found peace.

That gives you comfort, joy and hope, since you received God’s grace.

You accept your imperfections, that’s why He set you free.

From all your dirt and all your wrongs, to where you need to be.

Beside our loving Savior, who takes us as we are.

A new born child who wants to shed, their broken life with scars.

Remember how Christ suffered, for all OUR guilt and shame.

He even felt our loneliness, alone there in the grave.

Where my friend do you go from here? How should we live our days?

I’ll say with a life of gratitude, so many are the ways.

Serving others who need God’s grace, will remind you where you’ve been.

You’ll help them see the place to go, where new life can begin.

Live to be an example, of how we change with love.

A love that saved us from ourselves, with grace from up above.
