” My Journey “

             

I’m remembering so clearly, as I review my days.

The many times you touched my heart, in oh so many ways.

I understand  I need not try, to pay you back my debt.

But my grateful heart yearns to know, what I can do instead.

What is the purpose of my life, how do I fulfill my task?

My desire to be a vessel, means I must pray and ask.

Being open to what you say, so I can live my days.

In paths that you direct me to, so help me see the way.

I do not know how long I have on this green earth below.

But know that I must do my best to do your will and so,

I earnestly seek your guidance, to be the kind of man.

That sets his path to be in line, with all of your commands.

Then someday, I’ll take my last breathe and see your loving face.

Waiting to hear you say well done, relying on your grace.
