ladders

Something we use to step upon, to accomplish higher tasks.

For reaching and stretching upwards, yet questions should be asked.

Where does the ladder come from? Where does the ladder go?

Whose ladder is it anyway? Does it make that rooster crow?

Ladders in life may bring us fear, but nature bids we climb,

Staying there on just one rung, appears to be a crime.

Digging, scratching everyday to finish this endless race.

Our self confidence is a key, but still we must keep pace.

Our best may not be good enough to bring us to the top.

Not having many options, your hard work cannot stop.

The need and use of help in life, sure doesn’t make us weak.

We all want aid from time to time and searching means, we seek

A way to find that edge in life, to get a better grasp.

Of where we stand, our place in space, what questions should we ask?

Then where do we go for answers to help us climb the ladder?

Using every single resource, exactly when it matters.

Utilizing the Spirit and the scriptures will help us see.

An enlightened view of who we are and where we’re meant to be.

Oh, one day in the future we’ll see it all first hand.

A world where ladders don’t exist, no need to pound the sand.

Pushing, shoving are gone away, grace brings us to a place.

Where peace and joy will fill our hearts and blessings never cease.
